Field Trip Friday #36--Swimming at the Rec Center

It was our first Field Trip Friday of the new school year.  Yeah!!!!!  It's not like we haven't been having lots and lots and lots of fun through the summer, but Brandt and Blythe were both keen on continuing out FTF tradition, so we had a field trip to the rec center to swim outdoors for the last time this season.  The last time there, anyway.  I'm somewhat ashamed to say that we've only gone to the rec center one other time this whole summer.  We were at my mom's house, and the Cutler's house, and at Seven Peaks, but not so much at the rec center.   We invited Guy and Mikayla and Brick and Cora to come with us, and Brandt and Blythe were delighted to have someone other than me to swim with, though they do like me, too.  There weren't that many people there, so we went down the slide six or seven times, we floated in the wave pool, and Brandt and Blythe played with Brick in the splash area.  And to top it all off, we went for a snow cone afterwards.  Yeah!!!!  Here's to Field Trip Friday.

On a slightly unrelated note, I've decided to just continue number field trip Friday from the last time, otherwise I would have more than one FTF#1.  We'll see how many we end up doing.
