A Kindergarten Field Trip

Today the kindergarten classes got to take a field trip to Hee Haw Farms.  Blythe was beside herself with excitement.  She got to ride the bus (the first time ever) and be with her class, and I got to go along as a chaperone.  Hee Haw Farms is great; there is a large slide, a play ground area, a corn maze, a hay ride, and a petting zoo.  I was in charge of four little girls, but we all wandered around together.  Each child got to pick a pumpkin to take home, and Blythe was thrilled by the whole thing.  She could hardly wait for Kent to get home to tell him all about it.  Here are pictures.

The woman holding the corn is telling us about all the things corn is in.
It was amazing.

This was a great slide you rode down on a potato sack.

 And everyone again

Look how tall our Blythe is getting.

We wandered around through the corn maze.
It wasn't much of a challenge because the corn was short and you could see where you were.
