Luke is Baptized

Today we had the first of three family baptisms this year--Luke.  It was a beautiful day and a lovely service. Luke was baptized with another girl in his ward, Bria.  Grandma Sue spoke about baptism, Mikayla gave the opening prayer, and with the exception of Missy (she worked last night and was sleeping), we were all there.  It was fantastic to be together for such a significant occasion.  Luke was prepared and excited to be baptized, and Brandt is eagerly awaiting his baptism at the beginning of August.  We all got together for lunch afterwards, and we were able to get a picture of my mom with all her grandkids.  It was a treat for all of us.

Blythe, Luke, and Brandt
Luke is lots taller than Brandt.

Proud papa Eugene and Luke

All the Primary aged kids went up to sing
"I am a Child of God"
Our crew mostly paid attention to Collin who was trying to sing into the microphone.

Our first picture with all the grandkids since Rowen and the twins were born.
Top: Blythe, Makenna, Ava, Rowen, Lyla, Griffin, Blake holding Brick
Bottom: Grandma Sue holding Miliana and Victoria, Donovan, Crew, Brandt, Luke, and Collin
This one isn't bad either, except Blythe has her finger in her eye and Luke has that card by his mouth.

Third time is perhaps the best?
Brandt is doing weird things with his hands.

Donovan and Collin were desperate to drive the car.
Neither of them had any idea what they were doing.
Donovan is driving, but he is in reverse and sped rapidly backward into the garage.
Collin shrieked with delight.

We got them turned the right way and the car into forward,
but then they ran into the mailbox.

Didn't matter.
They still loved it.

I had Brandt drive so I wouldn't have to keep hefting the car out of sticky situations.
Collin was joyfully happy to ride.
