Memorial Day Part 3

We had our first swim of the season at Grandpa De and Grandma Sue's pool on Memorial Day.  The whole morning was lovely and sunny, and late in the afternoon it was lovely and sunny, but while we were in the pool it was overcast and a bit windy.  Blythe kept getting out then shivering poolside until we could convince her to get back in the water.  The water felt great, however, and both of the children loved it.  Last year, Brandt was totally uninterested in swimming; I bought him two suits at the start of the season but he was probably in the water four times.  Monday he was so happy to be swimming, and to be able to use the crayon squirter we got him as a potty reward some months ago.  We are looking forward to lots of time swimming this summer.
Look at that devilishly mischievous smile on Brandt's face.
He was delighted to be spraying anyone and everyone.

Blythe, our water sprite.
She was fearless; I'll have to watch her like a hawk.

Floaties are funny looking.

I wanted a picture of Ava and I in our matching yellow suits.
She wouldn't get out of the water high enough to show her yellow suit (it was windy!),
so it is just a picture of Ava, Katherine, and Blythe, swimming.
Ava has chubby thighs like me, but they look so cute on her.
It was fun, fun, fun to swim!
