Home

Kent was able to come home this morning.  Yeah!!!  Dr. Gill gave him the "all clear," assuring him that his liver was functioning as it should, his enzyme levels were good, and that he would not need a follow up procedure.  He told Kent the surgery took an hour and a half longer than he had expected; it was tricky.  We are glad that Dr. Gill was well rested and performing surgery in the morning, at the beginning of the day, not in the evening after a full day's work.  He also said Kent probably had 2,000 stones in his gall bladder.  Horrible nastiness Kent is happy to be rid of.

Kent can return to work whenever he feels up to it, but as there is nothing pressing at work today, he's going to wait until Monday.  He can't lift anything heavy, including the children, for four weeks, but otherwise, he can resume life as normal.

Phew.
