After Brandt goes off to school each morning, Blythe will frequently say to me, "Mom, let's do an activity." This can be painting, coloring, reading, playing a game, doing a puzzle, playing with Play Doh, baking something. Blythe is not really particular, she just wants to be doing.
Today, before I even had a shower, Blythe insisted we do an activity. We began by playing Count Your Chickens, then moved on to Matches, All Around the Town, Fishing for Math, another animal game, then did a unicorn puzzle and a Tinker Bell puzzle. When Tink was put together, I had to excuse myself to go upstairs to shower and get dressed or I was going to end up walking to school to pick up Brandt in my pjs.
It was an active morning.
