Raclette Dinner with the Barri

On Christmas Eve, Sharon suggested we get together for a "birthday" dinner for her and Kent while Brent and Brenda were in town. Sharon and Kent's birthdays were really just an excuse; we just wanted to be together as adults and have a chance to talk. Kent suggested we have raclette which Sharon agreed would be wonderful. So, we talked to Brenda, then to Cammie, and picked this evening to be together. 

This afternoon, shortly before work ended, Anna Leesa and Brianne came into the bank, and as we were gathering, I invited them to come too. Brenda doesn't really have table space for that many people, but Kent and I brought the card table, and we were all able to squish together. I even have two raclette grills, so we had enough trays to melt cheese.

It was fabulous to be together. Five of the eight Barrus adult couples were there. We enjoyed introducing raclette to several diners, and especially loved talking, laughing, and sharing. We need to get together more often.
