Luke has been participating in his school musical, and in the company of cousins and aunts, we went to see him perform today. Luke was in two numbers, one from The Addams Family and one from High School Musical. He, along with his fellow performers, was enthusiastic and clearly having a great time. Sadly, everyone had to wear a mask, even the performers, so it was difficult to hear the singing clearly. Blythe is participating in her school musical which is exactly the same thing—A Night of Broadway. I’m going to email the director and see if they can’t put aside the masks just while they sing so we can have a better viewing experience. Fingers crossed. But all in all, it was fun to see the kids perform and to discover that Luke doesn’t look too bad in eyeliner.
