Scriptures

Kent and I got Brandt a new set of scriptures for his birthday.  We also got him some little markers and a carrying case.  The other day Brandt showed me the first scripture he had marked.  It is Judges 1:6.

"But Adoni-bezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes."

I'm not exactly sure why this was the scripture Brandt chose to mark.  The page is at one of the marker tabs, so it did open easily to that page, but there are lots of scriptures on that page.  How did he find the one verse about maiming that would particularly appeal to a boy?
