Raspberries were a great price at Costco today and we are out of raspberry jam, so Mikayla and I each bought four packages of berries and came home to make jam together. Mashing, measuring, and mixing all look like fun activities, and both Brandt and Blythe were eager to help. I was eager to have them help and put them right to work. Their contribution lasted approximately 26 and a half seconds before they dashed off to do something more exciting. Mikayla and I carried on and finished up, and now I can enjoy fresh tasting raspberry jam on my English muffins in the morning.
