We had our annual DeMartini breakfast up the canyon today. We went to South Fork as usual, and had a delicious breakfast of pancakes, bacon and sausage, fruit, juice, and scrambled eggs, as usual. Not to brag or anything, but I cooked the pancakes perfectly, every single one. I was totally on! Although there was a nip in the air until the sun came up, it was beautiful with the changing leaves, and no one seemed to mind a jacket. The big boys played football, the little boys tramped through the trees and underbrush, and the girls disappeared hunting for treasures (read trash). It was fun to be together, as always.
Brick is marching off somewhere.
He looks like he has a future in rugby.
