Brandt woke at 2:30 in the morning.

Kent went in to help him get back to sleep.

As they were lying there in the dark, snuggled together, Kent listening for soft sleepy snuffles,

Brandt said, "Dad."

"Yes Brandt."

"How do you stop a unicycle?"
